Top 3 things to do with trees after Christmas
Christmas is over, and now you’re wondering what to do with your old, flocked artificial Christmas tree? Hang there!
We’ve got all you need to know about disposing those trees.
Majority of recycling centers these days don’t accept flocked trees, so forget recycling.
You can check out the tips below and learn the ways that work.
Sell them off
Your flocked artificial Christmas tree is still in shape but you’re no longer interested in keeping it? sell it off.
Selling your trees to interested buyers or those who are willing to have it will make you more money. And you can even decide your price range, as well as who you sell to.
Try donating
You may also donate your flocked trees to non-profit or charity organizations. What matters is they’re willing and, of course, interested in having them.
If your tree is still in good shape, some thrift or retail stores would gladly take them. You can also give out your good trees to hospitals, elderly homes, or schools. Reach out to any organization that might benefit from this sort of donation.
Get creative—the magical conversion
You can create a fancy home-friendly craft from your artificial flocked tree. The upper part of the tree can be cut off, placed in a mason jar or any vase. It can be used as a decoration for the dining table or in the living room.
With the other parts of your tree, you can create other amazing home décor crafts. A door wreath is a beautiful idea. Simply cut off the branches from the tree and bend them into curves. Form a circle by overlapping branches and connecting them with a wire or a zip tie. Beautiful napkin rings can also be made out of the small twigs of the tree.
